Beg./Int. 6-Week 10K Turkey Trot Training













The Dana Point Turkey Trot is Thanksgiving morning, November 25

-VERY IMPORTANT: Pace of each run should be easy enough to be able to hold a conversation or sing a song. In the beginning, if you start to get out of breath, it's ok to walk for a minute or two.

-Use a GPS app (Map My Run or RunKeeper) to track your pace/mileage

-Include 2-3 days of CrossFit during the week

-End each week with a 2 mile brisk walk

-For example, week four (below) I will run 3 mile on Tuesday, 2 miles on Thursday, and 5 miles on Saturday. I'll do CrossFit on Mon, Tues and Fri. I'll rest on Wednesday. Sunday I'll briskly walk 2 miles.
